SPOILERS AHEAD

This was one of my favorite books by Koontz. He creates his villians so we hate them and are afraid of them in all his books of course, but Roy Miro is one to remember above all the rest. And Eve Jammer was just as bad.
The bad guys were truly bad, the good guys we loved. There was action. There was comedy (like the whole scene with the Mormons and Miro). But the best part of the novel was the ending. Spencer and Ellie had a happily ever after but it left off knowing that this isn't the end of the story. That someday the resistance movement and Eve and Roy are going to battle it out even more in the future

I've just finished reading Dark Rivers of The Heart. In Australia we have similar asset-forfeiture laws which by coincidence at the same time I was reading this book have been ruled unconstitutional by our highest court for the very reason they put the onus on the owner to prove that the forfeited property wasn't used in criminal activity.

We need to follow Australia's lead! That part of the book was so disturbing.
I'm inclined to believe in parallel worlds filled with dark bound Snow and Odd adventures.
