This book is about a powerful telekinetic who creates "golems" made out of just about anything using only his mind.  Pretty cool.  Also has a cool dog in it- really amusing look into a dog's mind...

One more detail, not only can he create golems, he can stop time for people. Definitely a good book. Fairly freaky.
