I would like to say Hello! I have been reading Koontz's books since I was a kid and I must say he is the best! The First book I read was Darkfall, and have been hooked since. I am a Christopher Snow Fan I liked the two Snowman books but I think his best book has to be Prodigal Son, the first in his Frankenstein series.

Finally registered and i couldnt be happier. This is a great forum.

First of all i am an avid DK reader. I own and have read almost all of his books. My favorite being From the corner of his eye(Barty Bartholemew Lampion). I read that book over three yrs ago and can remember almost every detail. I can't wait to get involved in Koontz chatter. I feel like i know most of you guys already

One of the hardest questions ever asked? WHAT IS LOVE?

Hi, I am new to this forum.  I am a regular on another DK forum, have been for 2+ years, and I'm just curious about other fans and their thoughts.

I have been reading Dean books for almost 14 years and I only recently began obsessing over another author, Laurelle K. Hamilton.  I am totally devoted to her Anita Blake Vampire books, and it's a nice diversion from the usual.  Dean is awesome, but since Sole Survivor, I think his style really changed.

I am pleased to join this group and I hope to find some insightful comments here.  Have a great day!

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome.  Everyone's been so nice so far.  It's always great to be embraced by others who share a common thread with you.

I am also a regular on that "other" Koontz board. And while I have my favorite fellow forum mates (Gem being one of them), and someone mentioned Shawshank.  I absolutely adore him, he's a real class act, but I HATE to admit that lately, that board has lost something, something indefinable, as if, the REAL purpose got lost somewhere and now it's all about who can post the most to gain rank and there's just too many topics that originate from the minds of people with anger management issues.  For those of us who have intelligent commentary, it kind of gets lost in all the fluff, unfortunately

I'm not going to reveal my other handle yet, though, because although I trust Gemtaur, she knows who I am, I don't know who else here is from "there".  You all get what I'm saying, I'm sure.

So, there you go. I had to create this alter-ego in order to delineate my allegiance to "that" board.   And therefore, here, I am egotrip!

I know I'll enjoy myself here!  You all have a great evening.
